Before Bridges, Janet was a Partner for over 12 years with Naughton
Sheehan and Monfredini, an executive search firm which specialized in the
disciplines of accounting, finance, treasury and audit in a wide variety
of industries in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to forming her own
firm she was a search consultant for 4 years with Adams Parker & Lynch.
Before embarking on her career in search Janet was with the Materials
Management Department of Sohio Petroleum Company, Sohio's exploration and
production subsidiary, for 5 years. Her responsibilities were diverse,
incorporating the functions of financial analysis, budgeting,
purchasing/contracts and systems design for both San Francisco and
Prudhoe Bay project operations.
Janet received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1975
and her MBA in 1980 from the University of San Francisco. In between
earning these degrees she first spent a year and a half living in London,
England and returned to begin her professional career with Itel
Corporation in the computer leasing division. Her 3 years of work at Itel
focused on cash forecasting, computer hardware manufacturing/contracts
and importing/logistics.
In 2003 she completed her coaching coursework with the Coaches Training
Institute in San Rafael. CTI is accredited by the International Coaching
Federation.
Janet greatly enjoys volunteering her time as well, with interests
including organizations such as the San Francisco SPCA, City Youth Now and St. Francis Wood Homes
Association.
